Thymed Fish Chowder

Thymed Fish Chowder is a delicious recipe for kidney patients.

Ingredients

250 grams fish fillet, cut into 1/2 inch cubes, boiled
50 grams butter, unsalted
70 grams onion sliced
27 grams all purpose flour
1.25 L fish stock
290 grams chayote, small, peeled and cut into cubes
188 ml milk, evaporated
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon pepper, white

Procedure

1. Melt butter in a pot over low heat.
2. Add onions and cook for 5 minutes or until soft.
3. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Pour fish stock, stirring vigorously.
5. Add chayote and simmer for 20 minutes.
6. Add milk, thyme leaves, white pepper and fish.
7. Cook for 10 minutes.
8. Serve with a smile.
