Apple Strudel

Apple Strudel is a delicious recipe for kidney patients.

Ingredients

Dough
240 grams all purpose flour
30 grams butter unsalted
300 ml water

Filling
341 grams fresh apple, cut into small pieces
60 grams cashew nuts
60 grams sugar
31 grams all purpose flour
30 grams butter unsalted
1 piece lemon peel, grated
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

Procedure
1. To make a Dough:
a. In a bowl, sift all purpose flour.
b. Add in butter.
c. Mix well.
d. Add in water and knead until smooth.
e. Let dough rest for 30 minutes.
f. Set aside.
2. Prepare the filling.
3. Mix together all ingredients for the filling.
4. On a floured surface roll out the dough flat.
5. Put filling in the middle of the dough and roll gently towards the edge.
6. Place in a greased loaf pan and bake in a pre heated oven at 180 F for 30 minutes.
7. Top with granulated sugar.
8. Serve with a smile.
