Chicken and Eggplant Delight

Chicken and eggplant delight is a kidney food recipe for renal patient, patients with kidney disease.

Ingredients

300 grams chicken breast, bones removed, skinned and cut into pieces
420 grams eggplant, sliced
70 grams onion, finely chopped
60 grams red bell pepper
15 grams onion leeks
65 ml corn oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground ginger
pinch pepper

Cornstarch Mixture

5 grams sugar
2.5 grams cornstarch
250 ml chicken stock
39 ml corn oil
15 ml water

Procedure

1. Fy eggplants in 3 tablespoons oil.
2. Set aside.
3. Add oil in the same pan.
4. Saute garlic, ginger, onion and leeks for 3 minutes.
5. Add red bell pepper and chicken.
6. Simmer for 15 minutes.
7. Put fried eggplant and cornstarch mixture.
8. Stir until mixture is evenly distributed.
9. Simmer for 5 minutes.
10. Serve.

How are we supposed to figure out how much to use ? when things say 428 ml or 70 Grams, etc.
I need to know things such as 1/2 cup or 3 Tbls. or 5 apples, etc.
